      (im assuming you meant bulbs in a pot!!OH DEAR!!!!!!I  If theyre not ignore that rather useless but well intentioned bit of advice!)

        Next year after they bloom, wait till the blooms fade and cut back the stem but leave enough to see.  Fertilize the area but not after mid August.  They need fertilizer to bloom well the next year.  It isn't hard to take care of them.  Easy as pie.
