    even though ohio is an at will state is the employer still required to give the employee some sort of written documentation for reason being terminated and if the employer says that they conducted an investigation before deciding to terminated the employee does the employee have the right see the findings from the investigation which contributed to the employee being terminated?

    Even though it's an at will state, they still have to treat you fairly as compared to other employees.  For example, all things being equal, if the reason to terminate you is cost cutting, then they must terminate employees with the least amount of seniority. 


    You should also have the right to know the true reason, in writing upon request, why you're terminated.  In other words, you have more rights than you think you have.  Keep pursuing.
