Any time is a good time to go to Thailand.
For me personally, I like the cooler season: November thru February. There are many festivals during such time.
May thru August: rainy season, muggy... but a lot of tropical fruits like lychees and longans (dragon eyes)
Late February to early May: Avoid going there...It's hot and humid.
The rest of the year, it's quite wonderful as well.
My next trip is November....trying to be there by November 10 for the "Floating Lantern Festival" the night of the full moon..where in Thailand? Of course it has to be, you guessed it, in Chiangmai, Thailand.
