    can you claim your taxes on the gasoline purchased for the year 2010?

      Not to my knowledge though Lord knows gas prices are out of sight! I'm speaking of your everyday type of filing taxes. Now if you have a small business you can claim automotive repairs AND submit gasoline receipts OR mileage statement, mileage usually being the most profitable for yourself. This has to be or supposedly has to be work related.
