      To remove your bookmarks bar in IE go to > Tools > Toolbars > uncheck the mark next to the 'Favorites Bar'.


      To remove your bookmarks bar in Safari go to > right-click the top of the browser window and click the 'Customize Toolbar' link > remove the 'bookmarks bar' button.
