    When operating a car, does it use more gas to put the air conditioning on a high setting compared to a low setting?

    Yes very much so, in some cars you can literately watch the needle on the gauge move.

    Yes it does use more fuel,and car can loose power.

    I am not a car person but I did notice in my hubbys car he had the aircon on and i could tell it was eating the the gas up
