Funny, I had warts, saw a doctor, was told they were not contagious and I never gave them to anyone that I know of. Suppose I have to research this now. My warts went away on their own. Maybe there are different kinds.

OK, I checked. Some warts are contagious and some are not. It depends on the wart you have.
