      500 lift ,289 duration, suggest a "Pete Jackson Gear Drive" instead of chain. 1050 double pumper.


      Note: Definitely not a civilized street motor. But than again your in the land down under. Hauling ass is what life's all about.

        I've re-chiped two motors SB ford and chevy. Both times performance dramatically increased, gas mileage stayed about the same.
        Note: Depending on what your looking for mileage or performance, modifying your ECM is in the long run the cheapest way to go. Gas mileage was not an issue when I installed a chip. I was looking for an increase in performance. However your gas mileage can be increased quite a bit depending on what chip you install.

          Make sure the gear drive is completely bolted in. Had on on my 66 mustang , 289 motor. damn thing came loose , can you guess the rest.
