The Polerouter link is one link of those vintage models that just screams HODINKEE to me. I first read about Polerouters on HODINKEE and I heard the model suggested and drafted on HODINKEE link Radio time and time again. Ask anyone, around the office, here or not, for a first vintage watch suggestion and you will likely hear about a watch designed by a young Gerald Genta – Universal Geneve's Polerouter.

Fun fact A tourbillon is usually called a link "complication" like a chronograph or perpetual calendar but some purists balk because tourbillons do not show any additional information. It is they say not a complication but a regulating device.
