    If a 83year person gives 7 people 13,000 each totally 91,000 and then applies for medicaid will the state have a problem with those gifts?

    The person that gave those monetary gifts is the one with the problem.

    I would check with Medicaid before doing anything:

    Before Medicaid accepts a person they require a 2 or 3 year financial statement.


    Sounds like the older person would be best spending the money for her/his care and then qualifying for Meidcade when the money is gone.   Is's it wonderful that the older person has the funds to take  care of her/himself instead of relying on tax payers to foot the bill.


    Why would the people receiving the money want to scam the government?
