I think all possibilities should be taught, including alien seeding. This helps in teaching children at a young age how not to be drones or mind puppets and how to have open minds and seek the truth on their own.

To me, evolution is essential but also creationism. Granted evolution is a science whereas creationism is a belief, both however, should be taught. Now I now this whole no religious beliefs in schools, yeah yeah yeah nut ya gotta get real on this, science and religion are tied together. Many scientific things may start as biblical research. i.e. archaeological l digs in the Middle East or looking for Noah's ark. I don't know, just seems to me that beliefs should be a part of learning even in school. Also, just to try and head off anyone that I may offend, none is intended at all, this is the US though and things are supposed to be majority rule, or at least I thought it was that way. Maybe protestant religion is not the majority anymore, I think it still is though. What do you think about it?

The phrase "public schools" should be used sparingly today, especially if said schools are located in the U.S.A.
