At times, Yahoo has issues that cause you to time out, a busy server or something on their end but most often the problem is on the user end (you). If you have recently installed software, it may be slowing your system down or your virus program may be slowing it down, it could be running preforming a task that is using your memory resources. Or you may simply need to clear your history and cache. Too much stuff can just get things in a jam. Also, check to make sure you are defragmenting your computer regularly. A fragmented drive will cause your system to wrk itself silly trying to keep up. Try closing all other applications next time you check your email and see if your system speeds up the connection. Good luck. Alan
