      I would imagine you would have to complete the entire 200 laps to win.

                When I googled this question, it told me that Tommyh is correct.


                Indy 500 would seem to indicate that the answer is 500....it is not!

                      That's true too.But you still have to finish the 500 miles.(Or 200 laps).That's what his Q was about.

                      I do believe.The first car to complete 500 miles is the winner & the race is over.All other placings follow that car whether they have completed 500 miles or not.
