    Is brown discharge normal when pregnant

    when being pregnant the last few days,is it normal to have very normal and thick brownish discharge?

      Sorry didn't read the entire question. The only substance that should be seen late in pregnancy is the "Water". It seems that you may have some other problem, you really do need to see your doctor.

        I do hope you've had this checked out and been reassured.

        I know it can be worrying... any discharge is... but this one could be serious.

        If you haven't seen a doctor yet, please go immediately. So much CAN be done, but the sooner a problem is assessed the better the chance of successful treatment, which could be a simple, and vital, as bedrest

          Actually it is only when the placenta and ovum are implanting themselves on the uterine wall, there is some (minor bleeding) then that may appear brownish. If it is not early (one month or less) in your pregnancy call or visit your physician.
