    I guess really I need to know how to adjust the seat to fit my frame.

      the problem isn't get IN  a kayak, it's getting OUT of it. . . . . . at least it was for me, b/c I was older and a little over weight the last time I got in one, and my friend, Doug had to haul me up and out of it . LOL
