You really should be trained to do this there are places out there where you can pay to be taught as it is extremly dangerouse as if you cut down near the quick as camaxable pionted out they can bleed to death so let a proffesional do it until you can trained to do this good luck

you have to be very careful to do that. dont cut short. just trim off the pointy part. if you cut too far back he will bleed, even to death. so be very careful.

I was going to trim my cats nails today. Instead, I will take he to the groomer. Thank You.
I've done it before and I HATE to do it. I'm always afraid I'll take too much.

I have to cut my cat claws all the time but I have been shown how to do it on a cats claw it is much easier than a dogs claw a on cats claw you can normally see the vien and you cut above the vien as if you cut below they can bleed and also it hurts like mad
