greedy oil execs, they make up crap to keep their prices high. most people think cause of supply and demand bullshit. ALL the big oil companys are posting record profits

The oil companies make less percentage wise than most other businesses. Speculators run prices up. Government run price up by bad decisions with the drilling program. The oil companies are victims as much as we are.

There are several reasons, geopolitical events, speculators, and believe it or not, butane. It seems that butane , which is a ingrediant in gas, has a very low boiling point, so in the late spring when outdoor temps begin to rise they have to substitute a much more expensive additive. That's the real reason that gas prices go up in the late spring as regular as clockwork.
