It's a couple of hours. I used to live in Morro Bay. It's beautiful. On the weekends it's just full of overweight people wearing "I HEART MORRO BAY" Try to go during the week. The motel at the end of the Embarcadero is reasonably priced (especially in the off season) Go! I don't think there are any fine restaurants there. I was never interested in those.
