    Still using Windows XP

        Sorry should have mentioned I'm still using Windows XP--Thanks for your input.

        Then that's the problem. Microsoft put out a notice that Windows XP is an outdated operating system and the IE9 will not work on it correctly as in some features will be missing. You will have to remove IE9 and go back to IE8.
