there is no definite answer. tv came along to our lounges and sitting rooms mainly to entertain the world. what tv does is show the world oictures through a series of images that come in through different wavelengths through satellite. its a cool way of communicating news and programmes from around the world. it can be boring too, as some channels repeat programmes. tv can take you away from the world and into a different world, that's why it's enjoyable to watch films like close encounters or the third kind, star treck, avatar. there is a tendancy to be spend too long watching tv, it can be educational and fun but at the same time seem like your wasting a lot of time just watching the same thing. There is so much to be said for tv.
