    What are the chances of someone having lung cancer if they have a family history of cancer and have multiple nodules on their lungs?

    the multiple nodules in the  lungs are suspicious. But, what make one more susceptible to getting lung cancer, is not their family history, but smoking. ......or living in a very smokey environment. So, Mothers and Fathers-------PLEASE don't smoke around your children


      Working with abestos or plaster can also give someone lung cancer. It killed my brother in law b/c he had worked in plastering and had taught classes on it.
