Are Social Security benefits taxed after age 70

I''m self employed and still working.  I thought that after age 70 one could earn an income without social security benefits being factored in to ordinary income.  I've looked in the IRS web site and the question is not answered there.  Anyone know the answer to this question?

Social Security is taxable at any age if you have an earned income of a certain amount.

The amount is dependent on the number of depends you have.

My husband and I are both over 70 and we pay taxes on my SS.

    Hope this helps.
