98 Honda shadow 750 loosing p0wer
My 98 Honda shadow has a brand new battery in it. The bike starts while i riding it the bike dies at a red light, and the battery is dead. I jump start it and it fires right up. Something is killing the bike and drianing the battery. Does anyone have any Ideas thank you.

Very good question! Yes 100% the rectifier. The A/C being produced by the alternator is not being changed to DC and is not recharging your battery. The rectifier on the Shadow could be part of the alternator, but often on older models are a separate unit. Not expensive to fix! Let me know how you get on.
