    What was the game played by little girls on the play ground called?

    I thought it was Chinese jump rope but I am wrong.... Girls would wrap a "chinese jump" around their hands to make 2 x's the next girl would pull the x's through and repeat over and over again.

            I remember that but I don't remember the name.  So much fun. Chinese Jump Rope is using two ropes at the same time or Double Dutch.

                Kidder, you are right! It is called cats cradle - look at this:
                Cat's cradle is a well known series of string figures created between two people as a game.

                it is cats cradel When i was young , we all played that. I found it boring though. When i was young  my fav game was playing 'doctor' , no kidding.  They all called me "Butt Dr " for many years until i was like 15  or 16
