It can be used for good or for evil, it's really just a tool. A corrupt government can use it against it's people, or a government watchdog group can use it to keep their leaders inline. The problem is when people get a taste of power they usually want more, some of them will do anything to get more of it including murdering their own countrymen.

If we don't keep our leaders in check and accountable, they can wind up going way of coarse. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Yes, If there are more honest actions against corruption and citizens who stand up for the truth and demand full disclosure and transparency in public affairs  We need full accountability and personal responsibility in our culture to be encouraged and promoted and as reflected in our communications with each other. .
