    do you ever take medication that was perscribed for something else???

    I had a torn rotator cuff and was given amrix 1 yr ago... My shoulder is acting up agian so I took some off the old RX. Am I the only one who does this?

      No, but there are expiration dates on scripts for a reason, please be careful Jenn. I sure hope you get your shoulder looked at by a doctor soon. Take care of yourself Jenn. I am still praying for you and your family.

        Thanks babe... It is not out of date.. And I have taken it several times for the same problem...

        Good, but the body's reason for pain is to inform us that there is something wrong, I sure hope you get it taken care of properly before it gets worse, or you cause more damage.

        No.  Everyone I know does it Jenn.   Including elderly folks.  I don't think it will hurt since you are using it for you shoulder again.  Maybe it's time for surgery?

          i never want to have surgery agian if I can help it... The hospital here is terrible.

            agreed. I do throw away my pain pills asap... After my and my hubby both got into accidents a month apart... we both really liked or pain meds. It worried me.
