Insert 6 or 7 pieces whole garlic in the roast. sprinkle some cayenne pepper and rub 2 or 3 tsps. beef boullion power on the roast. . Use a crock pot to cook the roast if you have one. Top roast with sliced 1 white onion and 1 green pepper. Cook until tender.

Badia has a great blended spice mix for beef or steak, that with Lawry's garlic salt and a little meat magic is a great combo.

I like to mix cream of mushroom soup and lipton onion soup together and boil the pot roast in the two soups.

We may have a cultural difference here BUT when I do pot roast I use blade steak ,in the piece, and put it in a large saucepan with about one inch of oil,preheat the oil. then I brown and seal the meat on all sides,

I roughly chop one onion and toss in, one beef stock cube crumbled or powdered beef stock powder,two teaspoons of crushed garlic, two dry bay leaves, freshly ground black pepper. I don`t add salt as that is in stock cube.

Cover and simmer until cooked to your liking,check oil level from time to time, allow to stand before slicing. ENJOY AUSSIE POT ROAST.

Black3, how do you get a ROAST with all that liquid. It would be boiled meat or do you take the steak out of the soup and then roast it?
