If they are not showing up, then that means they have you blocked as a chat contact or they are not logged into Facebook.

i dont think this is the issue i doubt if all my friends were able to do this overnight whats the next possible answer the heading isnt even showing up friends available for chat

Well I can only guess here. I am not Facebook support nor am I a tech for Facebook. I only have an account on Facebook but you have reached akaQA not Facebook. I know over night they changed the chat app so there may be a glitch in it. I never use their chat app because it does not work 9 times out of 10.
