Alot people would be amazed, what a blind person can actually see with their minds. I remember the first time, I met a blind person, he worked at a snack/gift shop at the courthouse in Charleston, WV, you could hand him anything, he'd know, what it was and the price. He'd ring it up, tell your total and it didn't matter the demonination of money you gave him, he knew, what it was and give you, your correct change. I learnt then, not to try an take advantage of the blind, they may be blind but, their not stupid/dumb.

This is about as difficult as the blind person explaining to you what they perceive as sight-- Meaning, how would they explain to you what they sense in place of sight.
When I was a young kid, I asked a deaf person 'what is it like to not hear?" he said to me, 'what is it like TO hear."

This is a good question, but very complex. You could show them through their sense of smell and touch. Like give them a lemon, have them hold it, smell it, taste it. Tell them it's a circle or globe and that is what the sun would look like if you saw it. I'm sorry, I can't explain it. I'm sure my colleagues can help us with this one.
