      id say check with the airlines your doing bussiness with.

        We just took a carry on and a purse or back pack. Those can weigh no more than 22lbs. This way you don't have to worry about the airline losing your luggage or have to wait for your signed in luggage to come. It's great to get off and just go. we found taking less was quite nice.
