      And if your missing an aglet and the shoe string is good yet I use heat shrink tubing for electrical wires. Slip it over the shoe string heat it with a lighter or I use a heat gun, just don't melt the shoe string.

              An aglet (or aiglet) is a small plastic or metal sheath typically used on each end of a shoelace, cord, or drawstring.

              The coated end of a shoelace. Thanks, I've been searching for the word for quite some time now. Knew it began with an "A".....  don't you hate it when that happens?
