      We were always taught that Columbus did in 1492. But now scientists think everyone else in the world came here before he did, the Vikings, the Templars, Jews that mated with Native Americans in the south, perhaps even the Chinese. Who knows!

              I would say, it would probably be a safe bet to say the Native Americans, or as some still refer to them, the American Indians.
