    My parents had a stillborn baby in 1947 in Texas. They are both deceased now and I am planning to have his remains moved to the family plot. Do you know if there would have been a birth/death record in 1947 in Texas? It was a home birth but there was a dr.in attendance. Thanks

    There should be a record. Contact Vital Records in the county the child was born. The yshould have it on file. You will need the parents names and DOB. as well as the childs Name and DOB
