      I would be concerned if either parent goes on hunger strike. 


      I am a father and would do whatever it takes to see my child.

          I didn't ask if he was impressive. But you are saying 'no' so I hear you saying you would not be more concerned if a mother had to go on hunger-strike.

              I'm a father & so would I. I do think most "normal" parents would.

              There is a very special bond between mothers & their children. Yes most mothers (& Fathers) would do anything for their children - i certainly would 100%.
