      With 6 dogs and 2 cats in the house I use good old scotch tape. Get the wide stuff and wrap a piece around your hand, pat on the material and it should pick most of it up. Keep doing it until all the hair is gone. Also, there are commercially-made rolls of pet hair remover,  you can find it in the pet section at WalMart, Target etc.  It's made of something that looks like masking tape and it does a good job of getting the hair off too.         A dampened chamois is good for this,just wipe down in one direction and collect the hair from the bottom of the garment.

            dont hold the dog when it is casting keep combing its hair with a brush

              I use a damp terry cloth towel on clothing, car seats and furniture. We are a 3 dog house, a house where the dogs own the house and the people pay the mortgage.
