Compassion has to be in a person. If it's not there, then they're going to need a life changing experience to put it there. Do you think you can be his life changing experience? You have to matter more to him than he matters to himself to be that kind of experience for him.

In all seriousness, I think Suz said compassionate, not passionate. I know we all are having the Lorena Bobbitt syndrome today. If she truly means compassionate, then I think it is perfectly normal for a young man to be less compassionate than a young woman would be. My daughters are many times more sensitive than my son. If Suz meant passionate, Pamela is justified for having sharpened the razor blade. Maybe SUuz27 can clarify this.
