You can`t do a whisky marinated with steak, the whisky is too sloppy and the steak too firm.

On the other hand if what you really meant was to use the whisky as a marinade for steak that is entirely different. You really need to ask the question in a way we poor mortals can understand.

If you want to use whisky get an Irish whiskey, don`t you dare waste good Scotch Whiskey on a marinade.
