      it sounds like a scam to me these cons have a way of camaflougeing their true idenity, dont even bother answering it again if the same number pops up.

        i think you got a call from someone using a computer to call you, some will come up 999-9999

          You should call Verizon and make sure you didn't get charged for the call.  Some people have been getting calls from that number and the call is over an hour long.  I don't know if you get charged for your calls or not but I would check it out anyway.
