        1) This spider and spiders much smaller than the Daring Jumping Spider can bite through human skin. Nearly all spiders are venomous, and very few are dangerous to people. Yours is not dangerous.

        2) Jumping spiders wander/roam to look for food. Spiders drink water but require very little of it. A tiny drop from morning dew will do.

        3) Spiders have been shown to require very little food to survive, and claims that they control insect populations are greatly exaggerated. Jumping spiders expend more energy moving about, so they consume more, but spiders often go days or weeks without food.
