      Need more info about your dog. Breed age, health, whar he's doing that you think he needs to be calmer about.

        perhaps he/she needs some companuship, or maybe thats  a trait you should treasure  at my home at least someone happy to see me only if it's the dog !!

          Make sure he/she realizes you are the alpha. Pick the dog up upside down in your arms and hold him/her firm, even when he/she struggles to get away. Do this often and the dog will settle down when you want it to.
