Thanks for your suggestions but my machine is different from that you have sent me,
first of all there is no! connection block only two plug connectors.
One two pin plug:- with black leads.
A three pin plug with:- Red,Yellow & Green leads (motor winding's) resistances of which are:-
R-Y 43.7 OHMS R-G 14.9 OHMS G-Y 29.4 OHMS
Black-BL .5 OHMS (separate winding)
These in turn connect to a six pin on/off switch and a relay.
Together with the above is a 5mfr capacitor (non! electrolytic)
