I was in the draw for an iPod2 and was to text ok to 19977771 to verify my mobile phone no. unfortunately I am in a remote area where there is no mobile service can I send a text per a phone box text service with my mobile no. to the 19977771 service

Don't do it - it's a scam. I tried and ended up getting daily messages to my phone and then billed for each message. It was a huge problem to get out of it!
