Nkrumah, the founder of Ghana`s positive action, Martin Luther`s civil protests, Ghandi`s resistance to British rule in India, N. Mandella`s rise against Apartheid in south Africa, students` sit ins atgainst Vietnam war ARE INSTANCES WHERE CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE PROVED TO BE AN IMPORTANT TOOL FOR SOCIETAL PARADIGM SHIFT.
