I have two miniature schnauzers and two birds. Im interested in purchasing a chinchilla but want to know if the chinchilla will be ok around my other pets?

What if I was careful with my chinchilla and put my doggies in their kennel or outside when chinchilla isout of cage or being held ect. Do you think that would work? Do you think that my birds' noise making will bother the chinchilla?
