All Christains are saints according to the Bible. You will notice the letters are addressed to the saints, i.e. Romans 1:7,1Cor. 1:2, 2Cor.1:1, Eph1:1,Phil 1:1, etc. Christians are sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ making them saints.

They used the gifts to go to Egypt where they stayed until Herod died per God's instructions. Herod tried to kill Jesus. Mary and Joseph were very poor. That can be ascertained by the sacrifice that Mary made for Jesus when he was presented at the temple...a pair of turtledoves or 2 young pigeons. Only the very poor could offer such a sacrifice. God provided the means to pay for the trip to Egypt and the return by the gifts of the wise men.

In Mathew 16, Jesus said there would be those standing there who would not taste death before they saw Him coming in his kingdom. In Mathew 24, He gave the signs they were to look for signaling his return. He said they would all be fulfilled in that generation. The writers of the letters of the New Testament told their readers that they were living in the "last days,""at the end of the age,"in the last hour." In Revelations, Jesus said he was coming quickly. When you look at history in the first century, you will see that all the signs of Jesus return took place before AD70, including the tribulation. The judgement was of the Jews because they rejected Jesus and were not living according to the Law. That judgement took place in AD 70 when Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed. Remember, the letters were written for us but not to us. We are reading someone else's mail. Jesus has already come in judgement. One must understand Bible prophesy language. Old Testament prophesy is the key to New Testament prophesy understanding. When the Bible talks about heaven and earth, it is talking about religeous and political order, not the physical heaven and earth. Read the Bible through several times from Genesis to Revelations and you will begin to understand. Mind you, you won't get it the first time. Also, don't start with preconceived ideas. Let the Bible interpret the Bible.
