All Christains are saints according to the Bible. You will notice the letters are addressed to the saints, i.e. Romans 1:7,1Cor. 1:2, 2Cor.1:1, Eph1:1,Phil 1:1, etc. Christians are sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ making them saints.
although he was not one of the original apostles, st paul was the 12/13th apostle, after judas iscariot hung himself he was appointed an appostle, yes he was a saint any one who gets to heaven is cosidered a saint!
Chrstians are declared saints by God through the gift of eternal life through belief in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross.

As Colleen noted, many christians do not represent holiness very well, even the true ones. This is sad and this is wrong. Let's get with it christians and put on Christ!
He was and Apostle missionary but he was just like any other human with mistakes and sins that blood of Jesus Christ washed way!!!
    All Christians are saints.

    Good one! TU
@FriendofGod I would rather believe the church's teachings that come from Peter, the disciple who was told to build Jesus' church by Jesus, that have been studied and researched by thousands of scholars over thousands of years not by a minister or two with short history, and that have been proclaimed and practiced same with clarity and consistency everyday at the churches all over the world.
Not all christians are saints. In my understanding, the saints are only honored to be called to whom lived and achieved for the christian faith after his death.

According to the scripture, all christians are declared saints by God. See Bellore's post.

Schubee, I would encourage you to read the NT and not just believe what the RCC has told you to believe. God gave us His word and He made it pretty straightforward and easy to understand. Either Paul was writing to dead people or he was writing to all christians when he addressed his letters to "the saints". The RCC has erred in doctrine in mnay ways. The only way to discern between truth and error is to read the NT for yourself.

    God Bless!

Do you think RCC does not take the bible seriously as you do? I'd suggest you to get to know RCC better before you criticize it. RCC consider the bible as important as you do and follow the bible. Only difference is the interpretation of the bible as yours and others.
