The Grand et Petite Sonnerie is the link world's very first Grande et Petite Sonnerie wristwatch. Dufour started doing some research and link realized it had never been tackled before. For any collector, it's probably a crown jewel. He managed to miniaturize this very complex mechanism in a wristwatch format. Dufour made eight: five with enamel dials and three with sapphire, and the one we have is the very first one he link did in yellow gold, and the only one he did in yellow gold with an enamel dial.

Inside is Seiko's NH39 movement, and of course, it's got some respectable water resistance at 300m. Birdwell was one of the first makers of board shorts, and they double-layered the nylon to make it tough for all the wear-and-tear surfers would subject the shorts to.
