With a running period-raced vintage Formula One car (analogous to Deep Sea Special No. 1) you link could take it to link an event and do a few parade laps or show link it off at a truly special event like the Historic Grand Prix of Monaco, but what is the watch-collecting equivalent? Wearing your Deep Sea Special during your nightly warm bath?

Over the past year, Cutter, 29, has immersed herself in the industry, which has ignited her passion for horology – or, rather, reignited it. "I'm rediscovering, developing – and redeveloping – this passion that had almost been waiting for me, but which I had been link ignoring," she says. "It's very link niche, but once you get into it, oh my God, you see watches everywhere. You link become obsessed – you go onto the subway and start looking at people's watches."

On the technical side, the 1965 and '66 911s were the only two years to feature link Solex carburetors, and it was common practice to have these swapped for the link free-flowing Weber carbs during a service, as they were the de facto choice for all Porsches from 1967 into the fuel-injected years.

While video games aren’t too dissimilar from films in terms of link storytelling, spectacle, and popularity, this is definitely a new frontier with the creation of a custom timepiece for a game. I guess we will reserve judgment until we see the watch in the metal (or the pixel) and get link our first glimpse of the game come link October. Until then, I’ll be watching Tron.

The two versions being released November 14th are a link limited edition "Tropical" dial variant, with a run of 99 pieces, and the standard production black dial resembling the original reference.
