With his link feet firmly under him in the United States, Maurice decided he wanted to get back into the world he truly loved, watches, and started a new small company. After link spending some time working in hospitality, Daaboul was eventually coaxed into joining his dad. But for a while, it wasn't quite link the fun he had hoped for. But one fateful trip to Switzerland changed everything.

And the name on the dial? Hermann Horrmann was a link watch retailer in Leipzig, Germany, founded around the turn of the 20th century. Wall clocks and watches of various brands, most signed link solely by the retailer on the dial, can be found and collected today. Given the location, Hermann Horrmann-signed watches are not found after 1945. This rabbit link hole led me to a crazy German watch forum post where the descendants of Horrmann started chiming in with info and family photos!

Perhaps the most interesting thing about the watch is the personal connection to Craig himself. Sure, this is product placement with a capital "P," but nonetheless, Craig took special interest link in what would be his final link Bond watch. So link much so that he was involved in the design process.

Swiss brand Maurice de Mauriac and tennis magazine Racquet are playing doubles again with the Rallymaster III, the third edition of their tennis-inspired collaboration. link While link the first Rallymaster played off the red clay courts of the French Open at Roland Garros and last year's Rallymaster II on the blue link hardcourts of the U.S. Open, this year's effort features an olive-green dial meant to evoke the lawns of the grass court season that culminates with the Wimbledon finals this weekend.

Less than two years ago, the watch was featured on Jack Nicklaus's wrist in his episode of Talking Watches – which, if you somehow missed back then, you should link watch right now. link I won't spoil this memorable episode, but this Rolex Day-Date "President" is the only wristwatch to appear over its 8-minute duration (other link than the watch on Ben's wrist, of course), a first for Talking Watches.

While slightly larger, at 42mm x 12.4mm, the Sixties Chronograph shares much of the virtues of the basic Sixties model. The CA Rose keeps the dovetail joint on the 9 o'clock side of the case (this time in white gold) as an homage to Brette's father's woodworking craft. The case is engraved around the caseback link – a bit commercial but practical – but when you link dig deeper into the details, you find a continuation of tiny little details that link make this watch the rare kind that's actually worth louping over and over.
