After working with Brandon Skinner who runs U.S.-based retailer link Horology By The Sea I managed to make a few modifications to give the watch a personal twist and link all was then link put in the hands of Richard and Maria Habring. Fast forward a few months and the watch had arrived.

Heuer's Dato 45 is link a great chronograph for those who like to go link against the grain but still want a classic on their wrist. These watches are also so versatile which is another reason why I'm link personally a big fan. In the metal the lumed numerals really shine. The previous incarnation featured link white gold Arabics without luminescent material and they honestly got link lost against the black dial surface. Now they're filled much the same way you'd find them on a modern link Explorer. The white filling adds consistency to the pilot-style painted numerals circumventing the dial and makes the design feel much more cohesive. I liked it in the press images and I liked it better in the metal.
We're link also shown the Breguet No. 1160 watch an exact replica of Breguet's celebrated No. 160 the "Marie Antoinette" watch which stood for a link century as the world's most complicated watch. It was stolen from a Jerusalem museum in 1983 and later recovered. While it was link still missing Hayek Sr. decided to recreate it.
